Prostate Cancer Calendar 2021 - 2022 Ladies Lineup
Some words of wisdom from the ladies
"We Women need to stand up for the Men in our lives. Men in general do not like to talk about such things, we need to talk about Prostate Cancer, push them for the simple blood test and raise awareness for them. With the Calendar it gives us the opportunity to not just Speak Out but to Raise Funds for Research and It puts a Reminder on Wall. "
Each year that goes by millions upon millions of people fight the ultimate battle. The battle of survival. They fight this disease that is growing uncontrollably in their body. They fight with everything they have with the help of doctors, family and friends. Some are able to conquer and thrive while sadly others leave us too soon. This disease is called cancer. We are all familiar with this word, this disease as someone we know and love has been affected. And although technology has come along way, we still need a cure.
With every calendar sold, we are one step closer to a cure. With every calendar hung, we bring awareness to this disease in hopes that others will take care of their own health and the health of others. With a new motorcycle or car seen each month, a new discussion arises that keeps us all connected.
This is what drives me to volunteer with the calendar, a cure, awareness, motorcycles, cars and connections. Let’s continue to support and love one another as time is precious.
With love, Tanya
“Sickness has no prejudice” and “Education is key”. When it comes to sickness everyone and anyone is a victim. Sickness does not care who you are, where your from or how you look, it is coming for you.
I am an individual who loves to help people in anyway I can. Cancer affect everyone in some shape or form whether it be a family member, co-worker or friend, it is a disease that takes lives. Volunteering with the calendar permits me to get individuals attention and alert them of the importance of testing. Many people neglect their health in this day and age as our lives are “too busy”, however by taking just one test could prolong ones life and allow them to live to acquire more memories. Let’s save lives by spreading awareness and educating...I am all for that!
By partaking in selling calendars I have met people from different walks of life and hearing their stories is a beautiful thing. Sharing the love and passion for motorcycles and riding is an added bonus I will always cherish. The Chrome Divas are like family to me and all we want is for everyone to have a chance to live life to the fullest and ride another day!! Cheers! Keshia
My dad is sadly one of the 1 in 7 men who will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in their lifetime. Getting the word out there about this terrible disease is the only way this number will decrease! Men don’t like to talk about it- Women do not have prostate’s but of course want their men in their lives to be in the best of health. We must work TOGETHER to ensure our men are tested and treated before its too late. Spread that Blue Ribbon on everything you have and keep updated on new treatments and the Progress that Prostate Cancer Canada is making!!!!!!Coming soon!
Prostate Cancer Awareness is so important to me because many men aren’t even aware that they have this type of cancer until it’s too late. This summer I lost my grandfather to this terrible illness. Had he been sent years before for testing, it could have been treated. My Grandfather was a very special person in my life. I talk when ever I can to maybe help one male from suffering like my Grandfather. Most men that I have talked to about PSA testing, don’t even know that it is a simple blood test. Speaking out for the men I love, and spreading awareness is what I can do to protect them. Ladies, get them tested and be aware ...
